As a company, Yueke’s primary focus is on forming robust relationships between the financial sector and technology sector. The tower’s design reflects this notion by bringing two distinct architectural languages together into a coherent whole.

The gold weaving bands capture the innovative spirit and provide indoor and outdoor green spaces to promote social interaction and connection with nature. The interior green spaces have a variety of mezzanine levels, stadium seating, and vertical circulation. The placement throughout the building promotes physical activity by encouraging vertical movement via public stairs surrounded by nature, rather than an elevator.

Symbolically, the gold color conveys the nature of business, which is referred to as the “gold circulation” in the Chinese language. Rectilinear forms act as formwork for the fluid geometry and serve to illustrate the permanence of the financial world.

The fluid, gold ribbons move into the lobby interior to form an energetic ceiling. The ceiling’s parametric surface is composed of abstracted versions of the company logo and welcomes people into the building. The plants, furniture, and coffee shop are carefully organized to create a comfortable, yet grand lobby space.
