Carey England graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Minor in History of Art. Her interests in international culture and design lead her to study abroad in France, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain. During her four years living in Barcelona, Spain, she studied Spanish at the University of Barcelona, worked as a graphic designer and English teacher. While abroad, she also spent time as a resident artist at StudioP52 exhibiting art in various exhibitions. Stateside, she has worked for architectural firms Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED Detroit) and Spectrum Strategies. She has also worked with non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity and Growing Hope.
